Swedish Flower Hens ~ Pen # 2

Three hens from Christa Hull Huber stock with 2 roosters from Barb Bartel stock make up breeding pen #2. Pictures will be added. This pen has produced the highest percentage of the Sno Leopard color.

I have hatched 2 times from this pen once in the fall of 2017 (60% Sno Leopard -40% presenting and 20% appear carriers) and a small hatch in March 2018(100% Sno Leopard- presenting and carriers TBD).

The Roosters

Lakota and Dakota watch over the hens in Pen # 2. Both hatched at Barb Bartel’s, but she is no longer raising Swedish Flower Hens. I purchased them as chicks in May of 2016 along with 11 others. Both boys have suffered frost bite on their combs.

The Hens

Three hens that make up pen # 2 were shipped to me as chicks from Christa Huber Hull. One black base snow leopard, one blue base and a black base hen have produced several pretty roosters and pullets.

This beautiful blue based hen is no longer. Her offspring make up a part of Pen # 5 at CG Heartbeats Farm.

Offspring of Pen # 2

These pullets hatched from pen #2 and are currently a part of pen # 5.

All pullet offspring of this pen make up the female half of Pen # 5. Look for more picture to be added.
